There is nothing more touching or romantic than to share you union with each other and symbolize to the world that the  two of you have become one in  the eyes of God.  This addition to your ceremony is something that you'll cherish for a lifetime. 

Right after the minister's prayer, he will quote some bible passages related to unity. He will gently usher you in place for the lighting of the candle. There will be 3 candles (shown here) of which 2 will already be lit. You both will pick the 2 end candles out of the holder and simultaneously light the center (unlit) candle. You will then blow out your individual candles and place them back in the holder. As the music swells, our minister will then speak about the 2 becoming one in the sight of God, and how the two are now one flesh. What a powerful way to show your affection to each other! 

Prices range from $25 for the small taper, to $55 for the large 3" X 9" pillar which is beautifully decorated with elegant lace and includes a bible verse {Genesis 2:24) that you can enjoy displaying in your home for years to come to remind you of your union.
